Anthony Eversole, DMA
Based in Northern Utah, Dr. Anthony Eversole (he/him) is a voice teacher and acting coach specializing in adult and pediatric vocal pedagogy in classical, musical theatre, and commercial styles. He is a director/producer of opera and musical theatre, and frequent performer. He is also a working voice actor with contracts in the AI and audiobook spaces.
Dr. Eversole earned the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts in Opera and Voice at the University of Maryland, He holds a Master of Music degree in Voice from the University of Oklahoma as well as a Bachelor of Music (vocal performance) and Bachelor of Music Education (choral music education) from Utah State University in Logan.
Dr. Eversole has served on opera, musical theatre, and voice faculties at Oregon State University and The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. He currently serves as a voice, piano, and acting instructor at The Piano Place in Davis County, Utah.
As a performer, some notable roles include Sweeney Todd, Don Giovanni, Falstaff, Gianni Schicchi, Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), Chauvelin (The Scarlet Pimpernel), Oscar Hubbard (Regina), Friar Lawrence (Romeo and Juliet), Andrew Carnes (Oklahoma!), Belcore (L’elisir d’amore) and more.
Dr. Eversole is an experienced producer and stage director, and has produced/directed productions at all levels, from youth productions to professional. Some notable productions include Zazà (Leoncavallo), Mahagonny Songspiel (Will/Brecht), The Medium (Menotti), L’elisir d’amore (Donizetti), The Secret Garden (Norman/Simon), Annie Kids (Strouse), and more.
In addition to his vocal work, Eversole is a frequent acting coach and audition consultant. He helps actors refine their craft and confidently prepare for auditions through personalized coaching sessions. With a focus on vocal technique, character development, and storytelling, he equips performers with the tools they need to deliver compelling and authentic auditions.
Dr. Eversole is a licensed K-12 music educator in the state of Utah and is a champion for pediatric vocal pedagogy. He is also a current candidate for a degree in Speech Language Pathology through Utah State University. He lookd forward to using his expanded expertise in vocal function, rehabilitation, and communicative disorders to help more people in musical and clinical settings.
